Well a bit more domesticated today; I’ve had to do some work for work ready for a very early meeting tomorrow morning.  D and J might be calling round later this morning, R has gone out for a couple of hours and will be back for lunch, so I’m going to get some ironing done while watching Countryfile.

We have no plans for this afternoon, as R’s Mum has had R’s sister and her girls over to stay for the weekend while her partner is doing some painting at home.  The girls love staying at their Nanny’s house!  It is a real adventure for them.

Maybe, one day, my parents will know that same joy.  We have our fingers crossed, and never lose sight of that hope.  At least, we won’t until it is too late.  If it is too late.  It is too early to know, and hope is all that we can do.

About Linda Weeks

About my life with the daughter I thought I'd never have - but I did, thanks to a wonderful anonymous egg donor, to whom I will be forever grateful. xx
