Yesterday we went to Headcorn, where they had a Christmas Parade and various trade stalls.  It was a lovely afternoon, we were really lucky with the weather.  We took R’s Mum, and D and J brought my Mum and Dad, so it was really sociable.  There were so many people there!

The children on the floats were gorgeous, and this year, rather than looking wistfully at them all in their costumes and wondering what it was like for the proud Mums and Dads watching (or, in some cases, running alongside the float), I almost allowed myself to think that maybe, in a few years’ time, it could be our child dressed as a “Happy Feet” penguin, or an angel, or a fairy, or an elf….Smile

About Linda Weeks

About my life with the daughter I thought I'd never have - but I did, thanks to a wonderful anonymous egg donor, to whom I will be forever grateful. xx
